In Celtic tradition, an Anam Cara is a teacher, companion or spiritual guide. With the Anam Cara you can share your innermost self to reveal the hidden intimacies of your life, your mind and your heart, joining your souls in an ancient and eternal way.

Anam Cara retreats are about creating intimate settings where an exchange of knowledge and creativity can take place. May it be dance, art therapy or Buddhist chanting, it will always be rooted in traditional spiritual and esoteric systems.
We want to inspire people to live sustainability and protect mother earth. Creating retreats in exotic beautiful locations in the middle of nature. Anam Cara yoga retreats have now grown to embody elements of scuba diving , trekking, paragliding and surfing, helping you step beyond your comfort zone.
Anam Cara is about building a community where we can all flourish on this journey of self growth and learn from each other.
Natasha Mahindra
Natasha Mahindra is a certified yoga therapist and founder of Anam Cara Yoga Retreats , a yoga travel and adventure company. She completed her first teacher training in Ashtanga vinyasa with Sonja Appel followed by another teacher training in Hatha Vinyasa under Bharat Shetty. She is a certified yoga therapist from the Kripalu centre in Massachusetts, she has been working in the space of chronic illness and structural issues for over 12 years now. Stepping beyond the realms of traditional asanas she enjoys sufi whirling, dynamic dance meditations discovering ancient systems of practice for women and conducts yoga for children. Natasha Creates beautiful spaces and intimate gatherings , using sound , art and dance therapy in collaboration with yoga and other healing practices to offer a holistic experience out in nature. To her, yoga means: To drop the masks we wear and to give light to our shadow selves. Yoga for me is a way of life, a path we can choose to experience all that we cannot explain within us and around us.
